Description

G16 locomotive No.59 was imported to Hong Kong in the 1960s to replace KCR’s steam locomotives. The locomotive began service by pulling green passenger trains.

The 1:87 scale model is a replica of G16 Locomotive No. 59. Historical data have been referred to in defining the details. Just like their real-life counterparts, the model appearance including the company logos and structures refers to the locomotive which was used for passenger service in 1970-80s. As collectible items, the models each come with a unique number* stamped on a metal plate.
