Description

The model is based on "Dalian" locomotive no. 9102, which serves the East Rail Line and Tuen Ma Line, together with FLW 3530 engineering wagon, which primarily serves the East Rail Line. The FLW 3530 wagon features a container structure mounted on a flat wagon and is used for transporting personnel and tools. It is often used by Infrastructure Maintenance Department Track Team personnel in conjunction with rail replacement engineering wagons (commonly known as the "Long Rail Train"). This product can also be combined with another product in the same series to recreate the classic "Track Inspection Pioneer" formation deployed after extreme weather events.

Product Features:

• Coupler sockets are provided at both ends of the locomotive and wagon, compatible with both existing and new decorative couplers.

• Includes both operational and decorative coupler accessories. The operational couplers can be used to connect other products in the same series, while the decorative couplers are modelled after real train couplers to enhance authenticity.

• Produced to scale based on the full-size prototype vehicles.

• The wagon underframe and flatbed are made of metal, while the container body and small wagon details are made of plastic to enhance appearance and achieve a balanced feel.

• Exterior detailing is based on the operating condition of the locomotive and wagon between 2025 and early 2026.
