MTR's 1st Professional Railway Model Reveal: HO Scale Disneyland Resort Line M Train Model Design Details (Part 1)

MTR's very first professional series railway model—the HO Scale 1:87 Disneyland Resort Line M Train is about to be released. After more than a year of development, the model's details have been refined to the highest level. Whether you're a dedicated railway model enthusiast or a loyal Disney fan, this detail-packed train is absolutely worth collecting.

🛤️ Train Body Details: Meticulous Restoration

The model maximizes authenticity, capturing the essence of the real train. From the iconic Mickey Mouse–shaped windows and the stars ribbon body design, to the precisely crafted rooftop air-conditioning units, underframe bogies, and complex exterior features, everything closely resembles the actual train.

The production team carefully examined the statues and black-and-white photo arrangements inside the three real train units, ensuring the chosen formation matches the real steel details.

Underframe equipment and bogies recreated in detail, including warning stickers on the equipment boxes

There are two air-conditioning grilles designs exist on the real trains, with different arrangements depending on the train formation. The development team replicated these variations faithfully on the model.

The real trains feature two gangway designs with differences in appearance and length. The model reproduces them as accurately as possible without affecting running performance.
