The Kowloon-Canton Railway Through Train (Ktt) is the first double-deck train in Hong Kong. It began its service in 1998, running between Hong Kong and Guangzhou with an intermediate stop at Dongguan Station. The intercity railway service is now offered by the High Speed Rail (Hong Kong Section) and includes even more stops.

The mini diecast train is based on the Japanese-made Premium Class Coach of the Ktt. With a green, blue and white body, the coach was inspired by aircraft cabin design to enhance comfort.
