Description

Since the Light Rail began serving the Northwestern New Territories, its fleet has continued to expand and improve. Over the years, five generations of Light Rail Vehicles have been introduced to the fleet to enhance the passenger experience.

The mini diecast train is based on the red, blue and yellow LRVs Phase II, which were all retired by February 2023 after being in service for 30 years. On the mini diecast train, the destination indicator shows Route 506, which in real life has been replaced by bus service. The miniature also carries the logo of Kowloon-Canton Railway to further evoke nostalgia.
