Description

Introduced to Hong Kong in 1961, the EMD G16 locomotives had served the city for 60 long years before retiring in 2021 following the launch of a new signalling system on the East Rail Line. Through the years, the G16 locomotives had witnessed some significant milestones in Hong Kong’s railway history, from the decommissioning of all steam locomotives to the full electrification of the East Rail Line and the merger of MTR and KCR.

The three 1:87 scale models are replicas of G16 locomotives from three different time periods. Historical data have been referred to in defining the details. Just like their real-life counterparts, the three models differ in appearances including the company logos and structures. As collectible items, the models each come with a unique number* stamped on a metal plate.

The bundle set includes:

• No. 56 (Corporate Red and Blue)

• No. 58 (Engineering Grey)

• No. 59 (Passenger Loco Green)

Each Packaging Dimension(approx.): 350(L) x 80(W) x 88(H)/mm
